Log Delivery Terms & Conditions
Unless otherwise requested your order will be delivered within 7 working days from the date of order.
Whilst we will endeavour to deliver on the agreed date we will not be liable if we fail to do so in part or in full due to circumstances outside our control, we will however contact you as soon as possible to reschedule your delivery
A name, full postal address and contact telephone number must be supplied on ordering, we will contact you prior to delivery, should you not answer the telephone this may result in your delivery not being made, or delayed.
Deliveries usually take place between 8am and 4pm Monday to Friday and 8am and 3pm on Saturday
Delivery is conditional upon the access being free from obstructions and good roads available to the place of delivery
If your property has difficult access or issues that may prevent us delivering your order safely on the day there may be a charge for re delivery
Deliveries will not be made if there is a significant likelihood of damage being caused to the vehicle or property
Walls or fences must be below 5 feet high for the crane to safely lift any bags over
Keighley Tree Services do not accept any responsibility for goods which are lost or stolen after they have been delivered to the agreed property.
Prices shown are inclusive of 5% VAT, and delivery within a 10mile radius, anything outside of the 10mile radius will be subject to additional charges of £4 per mile, which will be quoted when ordering; this will be worked out using the postcode.
All products are subject to availability
A charge may be made for redelivery if you fail to notify us at the time of any access restrictions or issues that prevent us from delivering to your property
If delivery is refused a return fee will be charged to the customer, if you pre-paid then this fee may be deducted from the refund amount.
In line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 a customer has a right to cancel, cancellation should be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery date, if no scheduled time has been allocated by the time of cancellation this is also acceptable,
Our logs are cut to an approximate size, however should you require particularly small, or large logs please specify when ordering, there may be a small charge if logs are to be cut to a specific size
Payment can be made either prior to delivery, or direct to the driver, credit is not available therefore no payment will result in the logs being returned to the depot.
Logs will be placed where possible at customers request, however, if not possible, they will be left at the nearest accessible place, which is usually the kerb or driveway, the driver will not manually move or stack the logs to an alternative destination, bags will be dropped within 2-3m of vehicular access.
Whilst our best efforts are made to keep hardwood and softwood separate, the customer accepts that in some cases there may be a degree of mixed wood in the package, whilst the proportion of stray logs is kept to a minimum there is no guarantee of 100% successful separation is made at this time.
If for any reason you are not happy with the logs once delivered we are happy to refund on the condition that no logs have been taken out and burnt, and the logs must be still in the bulk bag and in a convenient place where we can call to collect them.
Refunds will not be given if you have burnt all the logs then call to say you were not happy with the quality of the logs.
